We've been recruiting at the day job and I've been on the interview panel. The dress code in our office is generally quite laid back - jeans, dresses, leggings, pretty much anything goes, but for the interviews I wanted to make a little extra effort. So I decided to smarten up a bit (not that I'm normally scruffy of course, I prefer the term laid back...) And do you know, it actually felt good. Wearing something that little bit smarter made me feel a bit smarter. I wouldn't go as far as to say power dressing, but a blouse, a little bit of tailoring and killer heels go a long way. And whilst I'm sure I'll soon revert to my jeans and ballet pumps, I'm keeping up my office chic for now and loving it.
Here is one of my outfits of the week, what do you think?
